Paulo is a director of PricewaterhouseCoopers International Tax Services based in New York and originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Paulo has solid experience in the international tax and structuring area, assisting multinationals and local companies in cross-border transactions, tax planning, structuring, transfer pricing, as well as corporate planning from both an U.S. and Latin-American tax perspective.
He is used to working with interactions among foreign jurisdictions tax systems, including double tax treaty application, BEPS analyses and related international commerce OECD topics.
In addition, Paulo has extensive experience in Brazilian and Latin-American tax projects, including corporate tax, indirect tax (supply chain) and customs, among others. He is an eventual lecturer in education programs/tax learning institutions in Brazil, having also written articles in the international tax area.
